Model of the periodic table in Braille

Model description:

The model shows a tactile periodic table of elements with signs in Braille. The height of the squares represents the density of the elements. The model was designed for blind, and partially sighted students.

It will be especially useful in chemistry classes.

 

Model elements:

The model has been divided into 3 parts that can be glued after printing. We do not recommend reducing the model size as this may affect its usability.

 

Among the files to be printed you will find:

- new Braille density table2Cut1: the first part of the periodic table model,

- new Braille density table2Cut2: the second part of the periodic table model,

- new Braille density table2Cut3: third part of the periodic table model.

Printing time: 21 h 9 min.

Filament quantity: 257 g for all elements.

Recommended filament type: SkriPLA / PLA.
