Model description

Mathematical dominoes is a teaching aid ideal for revision activities in mathematics classes to practise multiplication skills.

As in the classic dominoes, the game consists of putting the tiles together so that the same numbers are on the adjacent tile ends. In the case of mathematical dominoes, in order to add a matching tile, the player must first give the result of the product shown on the piece to which they want to add their tile.

The set is suitable for working in pairs and larger groups.

The model will be particularly useful in mathematics and early childhood education classes.

Note: Not all elements need to be printed in order to carry out the exercise.

Model elements

In the printable files you will find 45 elements. The blocks have been divided into 4 plates - allowing them to be printed in groups.

Among the files to be printed you will find:

Files with sets of several elements:

- Mathematical dominoes: multiplication (A) - the first part of the set,

- Mathematical dominoes: multiplication (B) - the second part of the set,

- Mathematical dominoes: multiplication (C) - the third part of the set,

- Mathematical dominoes: multiplication (D) - the fourth part of the set.

Technical data

Size of a single tile (XYZ): 25 x 50 x 8 mm.

Printing time: one plate around 8 h / set - 31 h 32 min.

Filament quantity: 494 g.

Recommended filament type: SkriPLA / PLA.

Additional information

It is a good idea to use filament in various colours to print the set - this way the tiles with different operations will be easier to distinguish.
