As far as this design, I got it from a description in the Dark Bane books. Made some sketches off of the description, and I modeled my favorite sketch. Has a synthetic kyber crystal in the book. This was described as having a hooked appearance, so I made this similar to a saber hilt. When Bane's skills reached mastery, his blade master gave him a his master's lightsaber. Bane didn't create this, but he never made his own in the books, because it was a really good blade. If you want to get the Sith Runes at the current scale of the STLs you need to print with a .2 nozzle. Those Sith Runes spell out "Urvas Maras" in the Sith language, and in Basic it spells Darth Bane. Character Description: Darth Bane, Master of the Dark Side, 1000 BBY A thousand years before Anakin rose as a Jedi and fell as a Sith, Darth Bane was the Master of the Sith Order. He was the dark and twisted character that killed all other Sith in the galaxy and established the only rule of the Sith Order. Only one Sith Master and one Apprentice, no more, no less. The rule of two was his greatest Legacy, next to his earth-shattering power. What made him an interesting figure was how he chose to do battle. Darth Bane didn’t attack the Republic’s forces openly, but rather used manipulation and cunning to put a Sith, at some point in the future, in a position to lead the Republic. This became the foundation where Darth Sidious grew to power and was able to create the Empire out of the Republic. Update: I printed everything, and it looks good. I am taking my time doing the prime/sand and painting work but this is what I have so far. The screw works best after you prime and paint it. The tolerances for that on my printer range from .8 to 1 mm. Happy printing!
