Culture: Tudor Material: Earthenware Accession No: CG 027 Current Location: The Hunt Museum, Limerick. A small earthenware pot, its upper section, partially covered in mottled green glaze. The pot has a deep small foot and wide irregular spherical body. The neck narrows and the lip is wide and slightly everted. This is possible Tudor Green Ware with a label noting Vandon Street, London. It is unclear if this refers to a findspot. The pot is English made but is a copy of typical French ware. The small jar may have contained cosmetics or ointments. More.
