A part of a bird playing field I've designed. There are important things you should know before printing these for your bird. Please read carefully. Bird Safety! There is no guaruntee that you will print these models with bird-safe filament nor machine. These models are considered "Supervised toys". You have to stay with your bird while they play with these models. Do not let your bird chew on them. A bit of curious nibble is ok, but a passionate chew to pieces is not. Do not coat it with anything especially spray paint. If you have to post-process it, only do sanding and/or annealing. Wash thoroughly after. About the models This is part of a collection of prints. Download and print only the item you need. Check the entire colelction at https://www.myminifactory.com/users/jarnMod/collection/jarnmod-s-bird-toys-collection This model is a Chew Box set To be honest, I have no idea what to call it. It is a cylincrical holder that you can take cardboard box. Roll it up into the size that can fit into the hole. Then your bird can chew it for fun. There are 2 types of chew box models. Vertical one is to be screwed into the base. The cardboard bundle can be inserted vertically, thus the name Vertical chew box. You can also bundle additional items on top of the paper bundle. If your bird is small enough, it can also perch on top. Check one of the attached photo to see how I put it up with a fresh branch. Another model is Horizontal Chew box. This one has a cyclindrical shape but there is a slant side. The long part of the slant is on the same side of the locking mechanism. This one is designed to hold more weight than the otherside where the bird will perch on. The side with less material is also less attractive to the bird, so it should not chew on it. To install this model, you need 2 poles from the set. Use the similar height. I do not recommend you lock this model to the pile with filament because you can turn the model to install/remove cardboard paper bundle.
