Elite ‘Cartoon’ Mini-Sub A 2-man combat sub model for 28mm games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included at 3 different scales. Also includes a simple printable flight stand post and figure bases. This mini-sub is built to assist elite troopers in their underwater missions. It has robotic grasping appendages, linked guns tuned to fire underwater, and even a torpedo. It is fast, maneuverable, and oh-so stylish! This model has been designed to print in resin and is provided in 3 different scales. The 32mm scale version is hollowed, and prints in 2 pieces: body and canopy. There is also a 20mm scale version and 10 mm scale version included as pre-supported and unsupported files. These smaller versions are useful when doing larger sea battles where it is useful for 1 inch on the battlefield to represent 10 feet (20 mm scale) instead of the usual 5 feet (32m scale), or even for 1 inch to represent 20 feet of distance (10mm scale). Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. I sculpted these Elite Mini-Subs for use in my own home RPG campaign. I’m providing them here free of charge to my fellow gaming enthusiasts!
