I figured that I would create a new style of spinner that I haven't seen on this site. The center ring is held in place by the 5 screws. This one uses (5) 1/4" nuts, (5) 1/4"x1" screws and one 608 bearing. This design is a little thicker and heavier than a normal spinner, but it's still manageable. The center ring is 9mm tall (ball bearing is 7mm). The ring has 5 recessed areas so that the screws will go into and help hold the center ring in place. The outer piece is 11.5mm thick. I made it that way so that the screw heads wouldn't stick out too far. This design is about 3" in diameter. The design is in two pieces so you can print the center ring a different color if you choose. I've uploaded models that use #10 screws instead of the 1/4" screws. It makes the spinner an overall thickness of 9mm.

I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, and I'm new to 3d Printers. I have extensive experience in 3d design using AutoCAD and Revit, but I'm learning more and more about 3d Printers. Only been in it a couple of months and am hooked. So far, I have the Powerspec 3D Pro 2 and a Flashforge Creator Pro. I'm building a BQ Hephestos w/diamond hotend and gonna take a stab at mixing my own colors. If you need help with designing anything, just send me a short note and I'll get back with you.
