This is a compact, drop-in auto bed leveling probe for most Prusa i3s with vertical X gantries. Simply print, add a 1/4"x1/4" magnet to the slide, glue one small disk magnet (comes with the sensors) into the top hole, and zip tie/bolt your hall sensor in place! It has tight tolerances to the frame on the top, but it sits a comfortable 1mm away at full height. To finish it off, just use an appropriately sized steel rod/nail for the probe itself. What's nice is how easy disassemble is, because the magnet holds the probe's rod in place! It even auto-retracts, so no servos necessary! Enjoy! NOTES: 1.)Depending on tolerances, you may need to flip the side of the sensor the header's on. Not too tough to do, but nice to know from the beginning! 2.) You'll want to switch over to printed PLA LM8UU bearings on the X gantry, or IGUS equivalents. If you stick with the normal metal (steel) bearings, that magnet won't be super friendly... :)
