Material: Walrus Ivory. Accession no: MG 028 B. Current location: The Hunt Museum, Limerick. A figure of a man, an apostle or saint, in walrus ivory. The figure is carved in relief. It is bearded and standing. He is wearing classical dress and holding a scroll in the right hand. This figure is pierced with two holes for attachment. It was attached to the same object as MG 028 A but was carved by a different hand. German, Cologne, 12th century AD. More.
