This larger than life sculpture was scanned at the Botanic Gardens in Geneva, Switzerland. The Botanic Gardens are notable for their structures that include sculptures, pavillions, bandstands, memorials, tea houses and such. It depicts the figure of a man holding on to unknown objects with bits of stones and other materials covering his back. The sculpture, like a lot of others in the park was made of stone. The maker of the sculpture is currently unknown but it is believed that it was made in the 20th Century.   This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free. Scan the World is an open source, community effort, if you have interesting items around you and would like to contribute, email [email protected] to find out how you can help.
