This artefact's provenance is Halaesa (Tusa, Messina), Sicily.This sculptoral group depicts a lion biting a bull and has been donated by  Baron Benedetto Salamone from Mistretta in 1886. The artefact was sculpted late 6th- early 5th century BC.
